Once a hero of the Pro-Life movement, President Trump’s stance on abortion has been wavering.
His position on abortion is already moderate, “softening” it will only lose him support. We must help him stand firm in the face of relentless attacks.
Yes, it is a very difficult topic for a campaign but it is also extremely predictable. Abortion is the only policy the Democrats are running on and it is unacceptable for the Trump campaign to not be running a rock solid playbook on this issue. Voters need to know President Trump will defend the unborn as he has done in the past. Trump campaign floundering again and again on abortion.
“MY ADMINISTRATION WILL BE GREAT FOR WOMEN AND THEIR REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS”
The phrase “Reproductive Rights” is nothing but the left’s codeword for abortion. This would align Trump with the most radical abortionists. Posted unprompted on Truth Social, this was such a dramatic departure from his position that supporters were left wondering if his account had been hacked.

JD vance speaks incorrectly and out of turn claiming President Trump would veto hypothetical legislation if elected. This is another unforced error by the VP pick and the campaign as a whole. If such a bill were ever to make it through congress, vowing a veto is a betrayal of pro-life voters.

President Trump later said he had not discussed a veto with JD but further damage to the integrity of his positions was already done.
“YOUR GOVERNMENT WILL PAY FOR, OR YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY WILL BE MANDATED TO PAY FOR, ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH IVF TREATMENT.”
President Trump has said he would not only protect access to in-vitro fertilization but would also have either the government or insurance companies cover the cost. IVF is condemned by the Catholic Church. The President’s personal views aside, this policy of forced participation in the procedure will make it impossible for Christians to vote for Trump.

President Trump apparently endorsed a referendum that would have expanded abortion access in Florida.

Thankfully President Trump clarified his position after an uproar and vowed to vote against the Florida amendment. This is too close and too important of an election to have any doubts in the minds of pro-life voters where he stands.
